Basketball popularity is growing in Jamaica, but it is being hampered by the lack of even basic resources needed for its development. Our work in Jamaica has taken us into inner-city communities where we have witnessed a pure love and passion for the game. But we have also seen the children playing barefooted on concrete basketball courts, waiting patiently for someone to arrive with a basketball.  Although we admire their perseverance, we know that in this environment their true potential will never be reached
