Description Of Marketing Internship Program: 

PR and Media is a vital part in bringing awareness to the community about the organization, its goals and contribution in the area of career and business opportunities.


The qualified intern will work closely with a small communications team and will have the opportunity to develop their communication, interpersonal and research skills. 


Daily work activity in PR and Media involves:

  • IT/Online Media

  • PR

  • Advertising

  • Sports Journalism

  • Editorial


Program Eligibility Criteria:  

  • Qualified candidates between age 15 and 30 inclusive

  • Candidates requiring credits towards program completion

  • Canadian citizen or permanent resident

  • Candidates requiring on the job experience

  • Passionate about title program.


Candidate Qualifications:  

  • Post-secondary or college institution candidate involved in public speaking, journalism, editorial, online media related to internet navigation

  • Strong proficiency in English

  • Interpersonal and Communication skill

  • Self-starter

  • Takes initiatives

  • Flexible

  • Dependable

  • Computer savvy

  • Passionate about the program


Knowledge & Skills The Intern May Aquire:   

  • Candidates may acquire the skills and knowledge to effectively use online media, television, newspaper etc. as a tool to deliver content to its readers/viewers/listeners

  • Candidates may acquire the skill and knowledge to manage servers, web navigation, gain knowledge on how post information on line for the use of promotions, advertising and media coverage

  • Candidates may acquire the skills and knowledge to learn about the art of sports and sporting events, media coverage and contacts  and acquire communication skills

  • Candidates may acquire the skills to promote favorable relationships with the public / media on behalf of PHASE 1

  • Candidates may acquire the skills and knowledge on how to write press releases and editorial aspects of publication. Candidate will also learn how to determine the final content of the text (especially for a newspaper or magazine), with the assistance of P.H.A.S.E. 1’s Director
