Description Of Marketing Internship Program:     

Marketing and advertising is a key component in helping the Organization within earning and generating revenue, either directly or indirectly using the means of marketing, television, newspapers and billboards. Marketing and advertising will help foster healthy competition, among brands within the organization; it will also help to increase the level of competence for

P.H.A.S.E. 1.

 

The qualified intern will work closely with a small marketing team and will have the opportunity to develop their communication, interpersonal and research skills in the marketing sector. 

 

Daily Work Activity In Marketing & Advertising Involves:     

  • Sports Marketing

  • Online & Social Media Marketing

  • Creative Advertising

  • Merchandising and Branding

 

Program Eligibility Criteria:     

  • Qualified candidates between 15 and 30 inclusive

  • Candidates requiring credits towards program completion

  • Canadian citizen or permanent resident

  • Candidates requiring on the job experience

  • Passionate about title program

 

Candidate Qualifications:    

  • Post-secondary or college institution candidate involved in marketing, sports marketing, creative advertising and related programs.

  • Strong proficiency in English

  • Takes initiative

  • Dependable

  • Flexible

  • Interpersonal and communications skills

  • Computer literate, including familiarity with the Internet, word, excel, publisher and power point.

 

Knowledge & Skills The Intern May Acquire:   

  • Candidates may acquire the knowledge and skill in the area of marketing and advertising through the sponsorship of sporting events and the sponsorship of teams or equipment for sporting events

  • Candidates may acquire the knowledge and skill to effectively use online media as a resource to deliver content to its readers/viewers/listeners

  • Candidates may acquire the knowledge and skill on how to creatively use effective strategies to assist in the merchandising and branding

  • Candidate may acquire the skills and knowledge in developing strategies marketing techniques which will enable P.H.A.S.E. 1 to manage a range of products that deliver sales and meet profit targets
